Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma

After a life-threatening or otherwise traumatic event, difficulties with coping are normal. Flashbacks, nightmares, or intrusive memories are common, as are avoiding reminders of the event. When these symptoms begin causing distress or persist for longer than a month, it can be helpful to seek treatment to help process those memories in a healthy manner and a safe environment. You will learn to revisit your trauma narrative and reduce effects the event had on you through Trauma Focused CBT, Prolonged Exposure, and Narrative Therapy
